Our confidentiality agreement with you
Understandably, when sharing sensitive or upsetting information, being able to feel assured that this will remain confidential is important to you.

Tarns Counselling understands this and takes your trust seriously. Information you share is treated respectfully and confidentially. This is explained more fully in your first appointment.
We promise that your information will be stored securely. This is in line with GDPR and ICO regulations.
In your first meeting you will be asked to sign an agreement outlining what you can expect from counselling, our confidentially and data protection promise and details about booking and cancelling appointments.

All Counsellors engage in supervision as standard industry practice and may discuss elements of session content in supervision meetings. This does not identify you and is there to ensure that your Counsellor is working safely and ethically on your behalf.
